Event Star is software for running events: event websites, registration and ticketing, payments through the organiser's own payment gateway, delegate portals and the Event Star app, check-in, badges, certificates and reporting. Organisations subscribe to it under our Terms of Service, with prices shown at sign-up or in a quote. Tickets to events are sold by the event organisers, not by Event Star (see the Attendee Terms). Event Star is not a member of any self-regulatory body and does not subscribe to a code of conduct.
Contact us first at hello@eventstar.co.za and we will try to resolve the matter promptly. Disputes are dealt with as set out in our Terms of Service. Questions about a specific event, ticket or refund should go to that event's organiser.
Online payments are processed by PCI DSS-compliant payment gateways (such as PayFast and Paystack) on their own secure pages. Event Star never receives or stores card numbers. All pages are served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
